Retrieval runs over the real product catalog and the written policies, refreshed every day, so stock and prices are looked up, never guessed.

It reserves, quotes installments and books a human when it should. Guardrails and a five-phase test pipeline run before every release.

About
Hi, I'm Samer.
I'm Samer Samir, an AI Engineer from Alexandria, Egypt, and a graduate of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at the Egyptian Russian University.
My work sits where language models meet real customers: agents that answer in Arabic and English, in chat, grounded in a company's own data. I care about the unglamorous parts that make them trustworthy in production: retrieval quality, guardrails, test pipelines, clean migrations, and knowing exactly why an agent said what it said.
Day to day I work in Python and FastAPI on the backend, Next.js and TypeScript on the frontend, and LangChain, FAISS, Google ADK, ElevenLabs and the OpenAI and Anthropic APIs for the AI layer.

AI Engineer (part-time, remote)
Bilingual Arabic/English chat support agent for an Apple Premium Reseller in Egypt: the ElevenLabs agent, a Cloudflare Worker relay, and a Python pipeline that keeps the live product catalog current.
- Shipped the assistant end to end on ElevenLabs, from architecture through QA and automation: multilingual RAG over 1,350+ products, an Egyptian-dialect persona, and policy guardrails for payments, shipping and returns.
- Designed a five-phase test pipeline (smoke, intent and pricing accuracy, adversarial security, bilingual rendering) and led the audit cycles that closed all 13 documented findings.
- Built a zero-dependency Python scraper for the full Shopify catalog with a custom spec parser and automated daily delivery with retries and data-quality guards.
- Prototyped an alternative agent on Google ADK with 8 function tools, confidence-gated retrieval and session state.

AI Engineer & Full-Stack Developer
Maintain Cleo, a bilingual RAG support agent for two dental veneer brands, and built the Leave Management module of Maestro, a FastAPI / Next.js case-management platform.
- Build and maintain Cleo, a production bilingual customer-support agent on Google ADK with tool calling for FAQ answers, customer photo analysis and human handoff.
- Own agent reliability: instructions, output guards, identity config and tool-status modules; audit live behaviour against a 208-row FAQ database and validate each release with offline regression probes.
- Designed and shipped the Leave Management module end to end, replacing a paid SaaS: two-pool balance engine, prorated accrual, working-day counting, approval workflow with email, role-based permissions and in-app notifications.
- Completed a four-year reversible data migration through Alembic and authored 45+ reviewed pull requests across the Next.js/TypeScript frontend and FastAPI backend.

End-to-end pipeline using MTCNN for face localization and a custom CNN that classifies real versus manipulated frames. Owned the full ML lifecycle from dataset collection through tuning and evaluation, hardened with transfer learning and data augmentation.
